Business Name: Appliance Preventative Maintenance

1. Scope of Service
Appliance Preventative Maintenance provides scheduled inspections and performance optimization for residential household appliances. Our services are proactive measures designed to identify wear and extend equipment life; however, we do not guarantee against future mechanical failure, part breakage, or manufacturer defects.
2. Service Access & Safety
- Access: The customer must ensure that all residential appliances listed for service are easily accessible to the technician.
- Safety: Our technicians reserve the right to refuse service if the work environment is deemed unsafe or hazardous.
- Minors: An individual aged 18 or older must be present at the service location for the duration of the visit.
3. Cancellations & Fees
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a late-cancellation fee. All payments are due at the time of service unless a prior subscription agreement is active.
4. Limitation of Liability
Appliance Preventative Maintenance is not responsible for:
- Failure of appliances due to age, pre-existing wear, or “hidden” defects.
- Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to food spoilage, water damage from pre-existing leaks, or utility spikes.
- Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total dollar amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
5. Parts & Warranty
Any replacement parts used during service are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Appliance Preventative Maintenance does not provide a separate warranty on parts. If a part fails within the manufacturer's warranty period, the customer should contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service.
